Ocean Moods U-Shaped Bolga Basket Pictured with Roving

Take your crafting to go with these amazing handwoven baskets. Woven by villagers in the Bolgatanga regions in Ghana, these baskets are made from locally abundant elephant grass. While they my be similar, no two baskets are identical.

The large U shaped baskets range from 17-19" across and about 12-14" tall to the rim.

Version A is pictured with dyed merino roving, which can be found <here>.

Version B is pictured without fiber, and shows both front and back.

Also note that these baskets when packaged fully opened, are considered 'bulky' by most package services, and may incur higher shipping rates. If you would like to have the basket shipped crushed, and reshape it yourself, please put a note in check out and I will refund the shipping difference.
